Good for a quick bite
I've been there with my family. The food have this home made feel... because I think I can cook better chicken at home. But the price is extraordinary. My kids didn't want to finish their plates. I didn't want to finish my plate...

Still ....Zehnder's chicken has NOTHING on the Colonel.
I don't know how they claim to be world famous chicken.
The only thing keeping this from being a one star is the building itself. The restaurant is nice and you would expect the taste to live up to it. However, this "world's best chicken dinner" is horribly dry and the rest of the food isn't any better. I would suggest spending your money somewhere else.
I am from Kentucky and I couldn't wait to eat this chicken dinner. They posted that Zehnder's had the best chicken dinner in the world. I went with 3 other girls and we thought the chicken had no taste whatsoever.
We thought it was rolled in corn meal. They placed the ALL PURPOSE seasoning on the table with the salt and pepper. The chicken has nothing on it ...no salt no pepper, it is very bland.
However, Frankenmuth is a wonderful town and we had a blast! We can't wait to go back. The shopping is wonderful and so are the employees at Abby's on Main Street. Abby's is a great store with awesome sale and beautiful merchandise!!!! Bronner's Rocks as well!!!!
Average food, extraordinary price. 70 usd for 3 plates!
