The suite was spotless and comfortable to stay in. Had exceptional customer service upon checking into the hotel. We were treated with the utmost respect during our stay. We got to enjoy putt putt golf for $6 a person and swam in the pools available. We did water slide racing and relaxed in the hot tub. They have a great arcade with reloadable cards so children don't have to run around with tokens!! I would recommend this lodge to anyone who wants a nice romantic getaway!!!
My husband and I just had our wedding here this past weekend. It was beautiful! The staff here is incredibly helpful and just so sweet. They did almost everything for us, and we couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious and everything was just so gorgeous! It was definitely crazy busy and not quiet anywhere near the family fun center, but other than that, it was the best experience we've ever had in a lodge. The room was HUMONGOUS! The bed was comfy, the room was quiet and dark. The bathroom! Oh my goodness, that bathroom. The shower was amazing and fancy and that whirlpool tub was what dreams are made of! We plan on coming back every year for our anniversary, and I cannot wait!
I stayed at the Bavarian Inn Lodge for two nights the first weekend of October 2017. The theme is good, and thoughtfully done, with many nice touches throughout the facility. The best word I have for the amenities is "average;" though, to be fair, some areas were closed for refurbishment during my visit (my review is based solely on what was open). The rooms were good-sized, but felt a bit dated (despite some updates, at the core, I was staying in a hotel room that had been laid out in the 1980s). The service was uneven, ranging from good (particular kudos to the room service staff) to wanting, and unfortunately tending toward the latter on balance. I was on the fence of whether to rate two or three stars, but, given the price point, I had higher expectations than what I experienced.
Took the family here for Thanksgiving. It's a buffet style luncheon that has just about anything you can think of. Very delightful atmosphere along w/ top notch service. Even with the food being set out as a buffet it is all very good stuff. Two people at the end of the line hand carving turkey and prime rib. Will go back here again in the future, highly recommended.
The staff was great!! My daughter and I played lots of games in the games in the game room. We enjoy the water slides and pools most of all I enjoyed parent time in the pool. I love my daughter but there is only so much screaming and crying any one person can handle if it your child or not. Food was great. My daughter loved the design in hot chocolate. This was a great place for all the family. Young and old.
