Love the experience here. We came at about 1:30pm which was a busy lunch time. The staffs we're nice enough to let us sit at the biggest booth. We were in awe by the architect and the interior. The food was good. The kids got their kids meals for a very cheap price with ice cream at the end. Overall we would recommend it to all first timer.
This was definitely a unique experience. Rico was our waiter and was very pleasant and funny. He did a great job at making us feel comfortable, especially since we weren't experienced with the food. The food was delicious and the portions were a lot for the price. Trying different foods and experiencing a different culture, I'd definitely recommend it. It was fun!
The Bavarian Inn is a long time Michigan favorite. Although criticized by some as very touristy (it is), it is also a lot of fun with great, family friendly food. The chicken is good, but the many side dishes make the meal. My Bavaria-born mother-in-law enjoyed the German entrees very much. Try the flights of wine or beer to compliment your meal.
Great food and great ambiance. We made a 1 pm reservation because the place was packed! We ordered potatoes cheese puffs for appetizers and they were delicious- a definite great start to our meal. My kids shared a 3 piece chicken dinner that was tender and juicy and I had the veal schnitzel. Overall experience was good, restaurant decorations were cute with well known character from children's stories. Servers seem hit or miss, some were very friendly and welcoming, unfortunately ours was not. Will definitely come back because the food was great and delicious
It was wonderful. Food was amazing, lots of it. The waitress was beyond compare. We wanted for nothing. She made sure we had what we wanted at all times. The greatest personality, a beautiful smile. If the food had not been good I would come back for her.
